Building for the Next Generation in Cambodia

Voice of Love Cambodia is building a new Ministry Center in Phnom Penh to strengthen and expand its Christian media ministry for the years ahead.

The new Ministry Center is a tool for ministry, bringing together broadcast, digital and video production, technical systems, and ministry teams in a facility designed for future growth.

Construction is now underway at the Voice of Love property in Phnom Penh. Over the coming months, this page will follow the Ministry Center from construction through completion and into the ministry that will eventually take place within it.

Update 8 – November – Final Prep for 1st Floor Slab Pour

The ground floor is a forest of steel pipe supporting the formworks for the 1st floor beams and slab. Inspection on Monday AM and pour following. Still ahead of schedule for the construction. Work is moving up, thanks for your prayers for the safety of the NATA Construction workforce.

Update 31 – October – Ground floor columns complete, 1st floor beam works begin

The ground floor column works were completed quickly. We had two inspection visits by our Construction Admin team from Petram to support two pours of the ground floor to 1st floor columns. Now work is moving on and up. NATA.S Construction workers are installing the forms and supporting scaffolding for the 1st floor beams. The steel work team is cutting deformed bar to length and getting ready to install the steel for the beams as soon as the supports are completed.

Update 25 – October – Ground floor complete, ground floor columns work ongoing.

PM was working in other FEBC fields for the previous couple of weeks. Now back and able to update. Ground floor slab is completed and the columns form works for the ground floor are now under way. Expect to pour the first set today.

Update – September 30, 2026 – Foundations Completed

The final two pours for the foundation were done last Saturday and Sunday. The excavations were filled on Monday. This marks the end of the Foundation works. Piles in place, pile caps and stump columns completed, and now we move on to the Grade Beam Works. This is the grid of horizontal concrete beams that support the ground floor and stiffen the rest of the building.

Update – September 21, 2026

We had a great pour on Saturday (19th) and it was dry for the whole time! Some pictures below. I am excited to see the excavator backfilling areas where pile caps are completed. I estimate we are 60% completed with pile caps and stump columns work. Keep praying for the rain to stay away during the day.

Update – September 16, 2026

The rains came, but not enough to stop the work. Concrete trucks were late (of course) or we would have been done ahead of the rains. Next pour is scheduled for Friday 18-Sep

Update – September 14, 2026

Praying the rain waits till late afternoon – then we will pour 8 pile caps in the morning.

Progress Report – September 9, 2026

Pile driving is completed – Excavation for pile caps, cutting of piles, steel work for the pile caps, and placement of lean concrete around the pile groups is all ongoing. Pray it stays relatively dry!
